ATTN folks.
Prices have indeed gone up over the years and poor jobless me is going to suffer a hard blow... watch how i RANT like my good ol' joo during her jobless days =P

kopidiam prices:
fried chicken wings rice $2.50 --> $2.80 (awful shock for me yest!)
seafood yee mian soup (w.o sotong) $3.50 ( so ex , how to eat?!)
streaded chicken mee $2 --> $2.50
Ice lemon tea $1 --> $1.20

sob* Due to competitive pricings between the multiple kopi diams ard my areas, the cost of the food are usually priced $2 which i found rather cheap~but times have changed and most prices have gone up... poof*

of course, the only comfort food would be prob. the chicken rice selling $1.90 but cant expect me to eat it everyday ! i've been having that for dinner for almost every alternate days...

Also.
I' used to support the Arnott timtam selling $3+++++ per box
in NTUC but have swapped to those ah neh neh
tweety bird value shop that sells at $1.25 per box (Recommended by cat)
and they are perfectly good as well.

Sigh, I'm definitely not someone who 'gei gao' about money but during times like this I can only "mai hiam" so much. Esp. i jus paid off my hp bills and bought a new pair of wedges online. will somebody please strangle me before i do anything foolish like replenish facial masks and stocking up on toner and creams.

And I'm proud to say I tried to have cheaper dates with my bf in order to save money! no more dining at ichiban boshi on sundays. no more movie-ings on weekends (temp). the last movie we watched was iceage3 animated and it cost $26 for the two of us. WTH. This is daylight robbery LOL. Maybe we should really watch during weekdays and enjoyed student pricing or discounts from my nebo card/uob cards and that will be ard $14 bucks for a pair of tix? saving more than 10 bucks okay! Although I'm not the one paying... but still, I SPARE A THOUGHT FOR HIS pocket and i def. do not wish to spend on anything that is "bo hua".
